Code of Conduct
By purchasing a ticket or entering our event spaces, you agree to adhere to the following code of conduct:
Everyone is welcome
- Our community is full of diversity and everyone is welcome to enjoy themselves and their community
- Treat others with respect
- Consent is mandatory
- Always ask for consent before physical contact such as hugging or touching
- Ask before taking a photo of someone
- Respect boundaries: NO means NO
- Intoxication is NOT consent
- We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind
- Racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, and similar discriminatory actions or dialogue will result in your expulsion
- Everyone is here to have a good time, don't be disruptive to the event
If you see something, say something! Come find a staff member and let us know what's happening, and we'll do our best to step in and help.
Respect for organizers and the space we're in
- Listen to all instructions given to you by event organizers/staff/security
- Keep distance between yourself and the equipment, the stanchions and tape are there to protect you and us
- Do not lean over or touch any barriers protecting equipment or decor
- Remember, we are guests at our venues and we want them to want us to come back, so please respect the venue by keeping it undamaged and clean
- NO weapons
- NO illegal drugs
- NO nitrous oxide (whippets/whipped cream canisters)
- NO outside beverages or food
- NO smoking or vaping except in designated outdoor areas, if available
- NO breaking open glowsticks and having glowstick juice fights
- NO stickers stuck on the venue or its bathroom
- NO harassment of fellow attendees or staff, if someone tells you to shove off, shove off
- NO being so intoxicated that you are disruptive, you will be ejected and will not receive a refund
- NO song requests, our DJs are professionals and may spend weeks planning and organising their sets, please respect their selections
- NO glasses or other electronics with surreptitious recording devices such as Meta AI glasses, including those with prescription lenses
- AI-generated music and art is prohibited and NEVER used in our performances, so please don't bring it in
Dress code
For all indoor 18+ and 19+ dance parties
- We encourage self expression through attire, however there are some guidelines to adhere to. No below the waist nudity is allowed. All attendees must wear something over their underwear, such as a skirt, pants, shorts, etc. Staff at registration will have final discretion.
- All attendees must wear footwear at all times. Closed toe is recommended.
Photography
- DSLRs and flash photography is not allowed. You may take photos on your phone without flash.
- As stated above, please ask before photographing/recording someone. That being said, be aware that due to the nature of our events you may be featured in the background of a photo or wide shot. If you post a photo and someone requests that it be taken down because they are featured in it, please respect their wishes and do so
- Please note that Faunaesthetic may have photographers/videographers at the event and any media captured by them may be used by Faunaesthetic either on their website or social media for viewing or promotional purposes. Faunaesthetic photographers may use flash.
Refusal to adhere to these guidelines may result in a warning, expulsion from the event, or a ban from purchasing tickets and attending other events in the future, based on frequency, severity, or both.
