Getting things started with our first event! We have trailerloads of gear to crash test, so buckle up for the ride.

This event will be alcohol free and 18+.

Venue details

We are going to be on the top floor, three stories up. Fursuiters, please arrive early! The Cotton Factory has generously offered elevator rides up to the venue for the first half hour (7:00 to 7:30 PM). Otherwise, you'll be on your own walking up to the third floor!

The venue is spacious at 8,000 square feet, so you won't be packed like sardines on the dance floor! The room, an old industrial space, has columns approximately every 8 feet, so mind your step. Water will be provided free on site. Refreshments will be available for card or cash at the bar, along with earplugs if needed. We will have a variety of beverages available for your hydration and caffeination needs!

There is a fenced in parking lot around the back of the venue that will be open. If that's full there is street parking. Smoking is outside on the designated sidewalk.

Getting Here from Toronto

You can use a $10 GO Transit weekend pass and take the Route 16 (Hamilton/Toronto Express)! There are buses departing every half hour around the time of the event, and the 5:05 PM bus should arrive at 6:25 PM. The venue is about a 30 minute (2 km) walk from the Hamilton GO Centre. You can also take the HSR Route 2 (Barton/Bell Manor Loop going eastbound, NOT the GO Centre!) when you get here instead of walking and get off at Barton and Sherman, which is just a couple minutes from the venue.

Returning is on the same GO Bus (Route 16). Departures occur hourly on the hour from 10:00 PM on. You would just hop the same line going to Toronto from the Hamilton GO Centre, with the final departure at 1:00 AM.
